I love sitting out on my balcony. It's something I've always wanted and never really had when I was living in NYC. I spend lots of 'thinking' time out there, as well as in my sunroom. The last photo is of my garden, taken from my balcony. My Dogs really enjoy the outdoor space, and it's a breath of fresh air from living in the city, to have a garden. As you can see though, I don't have any color there, no flowers. I did plant some seeds for flowers to grow, but just as they started coming up my dogs ruined them :(
Now I'm not sure what to do with the space. When I first moved it was seriously overgrown at the back of the yard, and I had to have someone come in to remove the 'landscaping' if you can call it that, lol. After that was removed, I was mostly focused on growing the grass in the spare patches, which may I add, is an on going process, but it's looking much better.
