I really like the look of white painted floor boards. I thought about painting my floorboards white or black in my hallway, but I have 2 big dogs and the thought of white floors with them is perhaps not the best idea. I'm loving the floors in the picture though. I usually like a lot of color in my house, but this white wash photo with the colorful British rug is beautiful and calming.
